Couldnt put it down

Very enjoyable! I just had to finish it before putting my phone down.

Pretty good, but..

...it often feels a little too random: even if you do everything right, the enemies will often have even chances of killing you. Also, I agree the price seems a little steep: at $2.99 I would buy more, at this price I will wait for a sale, like Ive done so far.

Awesome

I installed the lite version and 10 minutes later bought the full version. Great fun! Exactly what I was looking for in interactive fiction. Making choices and rolling dice. Good job, Ill be buying more.

Hmm

Having played many fighting fantasy books years ago I found this particular adventure too difficult towards the finale . Particular items and knowledge is necessary to get the good ending. Take a wrong turn and youll get one of the bad endings Itll take several attempts to achieve victory. Good luck

The best rpg series on ipad.

Thank you for great time with ur books.

Great

All around great gamebook. Great writing with many branches to be explored, a pleasant battle system.

Brilliant interactive adventure!

One of the best gamebooks to come out in years. Wonderful app too, with well-thought options - much, much better than the Fighting Fantasy apps! A great start to the series.

Awesome!

A few adjustment may be done, but its worth all the while!

Crash

It continues to crash on iPhone 5s with the last version of iOS 7!!!

italian please

please add italian language. thanks.

Too many arbitrary dead ends.

This book has too many "Choose wrong and die" endings, and the choices that lead to them make no sense. Often, even with the benefit of hindsight, the correct choice is not obvious, and some of those correct choices are very hard to find. After a dozen restarts, I quit. This is too frustrating to be fun.

Awsome

This game was really really awsome and well setup, battles items usage of gold heals everything was to the T ,im abit dissapointed by the high price and the mere fact that i finished the game within 6hours...expected a longer storyline but none the less i will be playing the sequels

Great book

I thought it was a very good story. It brought back memories as a kid, playing the fantasy fighting books. Playing the classic setting was pretty hard. Fun over all. Wish it was longer.

Great Fun

Brought back some fond memories. Well told and exciting story...some truly tense moments playing.

TRASH!!

Not worth the money after you die for the 1000th time just dont get this pile of garbage unless your going to place it on bookworm difficulty

Very fun interactive story. One gripe...

I really enjoy the two adventures I own. I experience the same problem with both of them: The app starts at full volume regardless of my volume setting. Scenario: quiet evening at home, Im playing the adventure. I have to check my email. I come back to the adventure and whammo! full volume. At least it starts with a melow guitar instead of an explosion.

Great book

Fun book, the iPad is a great way to enjoy choose your own adventure books. It also keeps you from cheating too badly or accidentally looking at the last section of the book. Worth the money.

Rpg

Fantastic if your a fan of fantasy novels and tabletop or videogame rpgs

Very Clever

Easy to pick up and play, yet challenging to master. I remember reading "choose your own adventure" books in my youth, but this brings the genre to a whole new level. An entertaining distraction and masterfully written, with enough variety to keep you playing for hours on end. A must have for any adventure, table top gaming, fantasy or book fan!

Sequel desired

This is a wonderful Throwback to the age old choose your own adventure books. Brilliantly written, Beautifully illustrated and with an ending that left a heavy desire for a continuation of this old chap. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 1st iOS Gamebook adventure. I hope to enjoy other fantastic tales from Tin Man Games.
